A plea for help leads to the arrest of a Casey County woman.
On Tuesday, Casey County Sheriff Chad Weddle arrested Lee Ann Followell, 32, of Liberty.
Deputy Davis had responded to an earlier call involving Followell who was uncooperative and fled causing around $850 in property damage.
According to the arrest citation, Followell came to the home of Steve Lynn, on KY 49, stating she was in danger. The deputy states that she was very hyperactive and wouldn't get out of her car. She fled the scene and turned onto KY 1547 with the Deputy in pursuit.
Followell drove through a yard and struck a 2-wheel dolly and got her car stuck. She then locked herself in the bathroom of the house after being let in by the owner.
Followell is charged with:
- criminal mischief 2nd degree
- fleeing or evading police 1st degree
- operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alc/drugs/etc
- criminal trespass 1st degree
- criminal mischief 3rd degree
- disorderly conduct 2nd degree
- failure of owner to maintain required insurance
She was lodged in the Casey County Jail.
