A Danville man is facing several drug charges after running from Police.
On Friday, Boyle County Sheriff's Department Captain Casey McCoy and Deputy Daniel Grigsby conducted a narcotics investigation in the Danville Manor parking lot.
During the investigation Eldon Washington of Danville fled on foot. Washington dropped baggies containing narcotics and was eventually taken into custody behind the Danville Manor.
Washington was found to have suspected heroin and cash on his person when taken into custody. Once all the items Washington had dropped were collected it was found an approximate total of 2 ounces of methamphetamine, 5 grams of heroin and 3 grams of synthetic marijuana.
Washington is charged with fleeing/evading on foot, resisting arrest, tampering with evidence, trafficking methamphetamine, heroin and synthetic drugs. He was lodged in the Boyle County Jail.
