3 ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES IN PULASKI COUNTY

Pulaski County Sheriff Greg Speck reports that three individuals were arrested on drug related charges in separate incidents on Monday, November 4, 2019.

Deputies Zach Mayfield, Branson Patterson, and Trent Massey as well as Burnside Police Chief Mike Hill responded to a 911 call of two individuals passed out in an automobile at 100 Antioch Tower Road in Burnside, Kentucky.

Upon arrival at the scene at approximately 10 AM officers made contact with Rebecca Decker, age 37 of 2080 Highway 790, Bronston, Kentucky and William B. Bailey, age 34 of 195 North Riverwood Road, Bronston, Kentucky.

Both subject manifested characteristics of being under the influence of intoxicating substances.  Needles were found within plain sight of the officers inside the vehicle. Further search of the interior of the automobile resulted in the discovery of a small amount of white crystalline substance consistent with methamphetamine.

Both subjects were arrested and charged with the following:

 1. Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Off.  (Methamphetamine).

 2. Drug Paraphernalia-Buy/Possess

 3. Public Intoxication-Controlled Substance (Excludes Alcohol).

They were both lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center without incident.

Approximately two hours later, Deputies Zach Mayfield, David Wesley and Trent Massey responded to a 911 report of a possible overdose of an individual in an automobile at Mattress Overstock on South Highway 27.

Deputies made contact with Terry Ray Moore, age 43 of Shannon Drive, Science Hill, Kentucky.  The 911 Dispatch Center advised Deputy Mayfield that Mr. Moore had an active warrant for Failure to Appear in Pulaski District Court.

A pat-down search of Mr. Moore yielded a small container of crystalline substance consistent with methamphetamine.

Mr. Moore failed a series of field sobriety test including an A-RIDE field sobriety conducted by Chief Mike Hill of the Burnside Police Department.  A-Ride is an acronym for Advanced Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere. (Advanced training for Law Enforcement Officers in the detection of impairment caused by drugs).

Terry Ray Moore was lodged in the Pulaski County Detention on the following charges:

1. Possession of Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Off (Methamphetamine).

2. Operating Motor Vehicle under Influence of Alcohol or Drugs (2nd Offense).

3. Failure to Appear (Pulaski District Court Warrant).
