U.S. 127 in Casey County has been reduced to one lane in three locations as crews perform bridge deck restorations.
Temporary traffic signals are in place on the north and south bound approaches for the lane closures in the following locations...
Mile point 5.7 – South Fork Creek Bridge
Mile point 9.7 – Calhoun Creek Bridge
Mile point 13.3 – Green River Bridge
In addition, lane widths are reduced to 12 feet at each location.
The lane closures will remain in place until work is completed on each structure with the last closure expected to be completed in approximately five weeks. The duration of work may be adjusted for inclement weather or other unforeseeable delays. Drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to allow extra time in reaching their destination.
