A Russell County man was charged with DUI following a 1-vehicle accident over the weekend.
Russell County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene around 9:30pm Saturday evening, just South of Jamestown on Hwy 619.
44 year old John Camp, of Jamestown, lost control of a 2000 Jeep, crossed the roadway & struck a culvert, causing the vehicle to overturn, travel down the ditch-line and catch on fire.
Camp and a passenger, Randal Walker, 41, of Russell Springs, were both taken to Russell County Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Camp was charged with DUI and taken to the Russell County Jail.
