The Kentucky Department of Highways will temporarily close KY 698 in Lincoln County to through traffic between KY 3249 (mile point 10.2) and Waterworks Drive (mile point 10.7), Friday, Aug. 2.

The closure is for cross drain replacement beneath the roadway.

The route, which is currently reduced to one lane for pavement repairs, will close at approximately 9 a.m. EDT on Friday and will re-open to one lane by approximately 3 p.m. EDT. Motorists are reminded that this area will remain reduced to one lane for approximately three more weeks. The work dates and duration may be adjusted for inclement weather or other unforeseeable delays.
