A Boyle County man was arrested Wednesday in connection to a home invasion case, but he was originally taken into custody for unrelated traffic offenses.
23 year old D'Montrell Trumbo, of Danville, allegedly entered a residence on Fox Harbor Drive in the early morning hours Wednesday. Police say he was armed with a semi-automatic handgun demanding money.
Trumbo left the scene with cash, but Danville Police were able to determine he was the suspect shortly thereafter.
He was scheduled to appear in court yesterday for various traffic violations, and officers were waiting when he appeared at the Boyle County Courthouse. He is charged with first-degree robbery.
